Zakharova allowed a repeat of Hitler's fate for Zelensky
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky may face the fate of Adolf Hitler. This was announced on June 1 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"The Kiev regime — neo—Nazi and fascist - has already been formed, it is already armed, money has already been given to it. And this new Fuhrer (the head of the Kiev regime. They have already brought him to power and incited him, as Western European heads of state say, "the main thing is that he strikes in the right direction," she said in an interview with the Vesti news agency.
The diplomat drew a parallel between the current actions of Western countries and the history of the Third Reich. She stressed that Hitler could not have come to power without outside support.
"All the monsters they created earlier, they were then forced to neutralize in some way, because these monsters always began to threaten their well—being, and sometimes their existence," Zakharova concluded.
On May 8, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that some European politicians were calling for "repeating the experience" of Hitler and attacking Russia. He added that he, who was defeated during the Great Patriotic War (WWII), "raises his head" and tries to rewrite history.
