Construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline has been completed in the Southwestern Administrative District of Moscow. This was announced on Monday, June 1, by the metropolitan Department of Housing and Communal Services.

Mikhail Vdovin, General Director of Mosgaz, noted that the new facility is integrated into an automated control system, which allows round-the-clock monitoring of the network and quick response to deviations. According to him, if necessary, individual sections can be turned off in less than a minute and a half without affecting the entire system, the Moscow City News agency reports.

The gas pipeline, which is about 3.5 km long, has increased the network's capacity and provided stable gas supply to areas with dense buildings. It is also involved in supplying fuel to the Landfill gas control point and supports the work of energy, housing and communal services and housing stock in several districts of the capital at once, writes Moscow 24.

It is noted that such projects of modernization of communal infrastructure are being implemented within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
