Kalashnikov has started delivering the latest Skat-220 drone to the customer.

The Kalashnikov Concern has begun supplying the customer with the latest Skat-220 unmanned aerial vehicle of its own design. This was announced on June 1 by the company's press service.

"The Kalashnikov Concern has started delivering the latest Skat-220 unmanned aerial vehicle of its own design to the customer. The aircraft was created on the basis of the well-known Skat—350 M drone," the company's Telegram channel says.

According to the company, the aircraft surpasses it in a number of characteristics of the Skat-350 M. With a smaller wingspan of 2.2 meters and a weight of 12 kg, the device reaches speeds of up to 160 km/h. The concern emphasized that such indicators make the model unique in its class.

The drone is equipped with an electric motor and is capable of staying in the air for more than 150 minutes. The technical features of the design allow the device to launch from a catapult and land by parachute. The developers also stated the high reliability and durability of the new product.
