The Zen platform launched the Children on the Network train in the Moscow metro
On June 1, the Zen information platform launched the Children Online theme train in the Moscow metro, which will teach the younger generation the basics of cybersecurity.
The train runs along the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line (BKL). Each carriage is dedicated to different Internet threats and how to protect yourself from them. This way, passengers will be able to learn how to respond to online insults from haters and recognize calls from phone scammers.
"I sincerely believe that this project will become not just a beautiful action, but also an occasion, indeed, in the evening after work, after riding on this train, to talk with children about such important topics as mindfulness, caring for each other," said Alexander Tolokolnikov, Managing director of Zen.
The tips posted in the wagons are short and clear: "Don't even push online," "Don't send insults further." You can take a ride on a themed train and read all the instructions in detail throughout June. According to Zen's calculations, the train will carry more than 500,000 passengers during this time.
The press service of the Russian Interior Ministry reported on May 29 that to protect teenagers from fraudsters, parents are advised to install antivirus software on the child's computer and phone, monitor his online contacts, and not post information about children on the Internet. The ministry noted that teenagers aged 14-17 with high online activity, a desire for financial independence and a lack of trusting communication with their parents may be more vulnerable to fraudsters.
