Calculations of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the unmanned systems forces unit of the 56th separate special purpose battalion of the 51st Guards Army of the Center group of forces destroyed camouflaged dugouts with personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dobropolsky area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on June 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is noted that military personnel use Lightning-2 aircraft-type attack UAVs and fiber-optic quadrocopters to perform tasks. After receiving the coordinates of the target, the operators prepare the drone, conduct pre-flight training and launch.

The calculations are carried out in pairs: one soldier adjusts the flight of the drone taking into account the weather conditions, the second controls the device and takes it to the target.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, UAV calculations of the BPS unit of the 56th separate special forces battalion of the Center group of forces daily hit the manpower and fortified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, disrupt the rotation of units and attempts at counterattacks, and also support the advance of assault units in the Dobropolsky direction.
