A captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about the mobilization of people with addictions in Ukraine

Employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCCs), which perform the functions of military enlistment offices in Ukraine, forcibly send everyone indiscriminately to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), including people with severe drug addiction. This was announced on June 1 by Sergei Kadunov, an ordinary soldier of the 157th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who voluntarily surrendered to Russian soldiers in the Sumy region.

"The TCC catches everyone: the elderly, the sick, the thin. The kid was brought in, a walking death, a drug addict. <...> There are a lot of drug addicts in general. One of us almost died — they took him to the hospital," he told TASS.
