The crew of the T-80BVM tank destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Orekhovsky direction
The crew of a T-80BVM tank of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed a stronghold and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Orekhiv direction in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on June 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
It is noted that tank crews of the 58th Guards Combined Arms Army, acting in the interests of the assault units of the motorized rifle regiments of the Dnepr group of forces, strike at enemy positions on the line of contact. The fire is conducted both from closed firing positions and direct fire, including in motion. Adjustments are carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
According to the data received from the UAV, the crews of T-80BVM tanks hit artillery, armored combat vehicles, observation posts and ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy's fortified strongholds are destroyed by direct fire.
The day before, the crew of the T-80BVM tank, after receiving a combat mission, arrived at the firing position and struck a strongpoint with the Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry stationed there, disrupting the rotation of the Ukrainian unit at one of the sites. After completing the task, the crew left the position.
On May 22, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that military personnel of the units of the unmanned systems Forces (UAVs) of the engineering and sapper unit of the Center group of forces used heavy Sova quadrocopters in the Dobropolsky area of the special military operation (SVO). The ministry noted that drones were used to disrupt the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine both in the rear areas and directly on the line of contact.
