On May 31, French President Emmanuel Macron received the players and coaching staff of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) football club at the Elysee Palace after the team's victory in the Champions League.

"During the meeting, Macron congratulated the team on their success, calling PSG the greatest club in Europe. The French president noted that Parisians made their fans worry until the last seconds of the final match," Sport-Express reports.
