The Guardian reported on the successful trials of a new cancer vaccine

The experimental cancer vaccine amivantamab has shown unprecedented results, providing complete tumor regression in a number of patients. This was reported on May 31 by The Guardian newspaper.

According to available data, international clinical trials of the drug took place in 11 countries. It has been used in patients with relapsed disease, as well as in cases where other treatments have failed.

"In the study, 102 patients with head and neck cancer, the sixth most common type of cancer in the world, were vaccinated. The tumors shrank or completely disappeared in 43 patients, including 28 in whom the tumors had significantly decreased, and 15 in whom they were completely destroyed," the publication says.
