Events dedicated to Children's Day were canceled in the Kherson region due to the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In the Kherson region, all festive events scheduled for Children's Day were canceled due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on May 31 by the press secretary of the governor Vladimir Vasilenko.

"All events dedicated to Children's Day have been canceled," TASS quoted him as saying.

Ukrainian Armed Forces militants earlier that day attacked residential buildings in Genichesk, Kherson region, resulting in the death of a child. In addition, at least five people were injured. All the victims receive the necessary assistance.

Also on May 31, a woman was injured in an attack on a regular bus in the Kherson region on the Skadovsk–Lazurnoye highway. It was clarified that there were no fatalities as a result of the incident.
