Air defense forces shot down more than 50 UAVs over the Rostov region

Over 50 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was destroyed in the sky over the Rostov region. This was announced on May 31 by the head of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"During the repulse of the air attack, more than 50 UAVs were destroyed. Nine districts of the region were attacked: Krasnosulinsky, Chertkovsky, Millerovsky, Tarasovsky, Bokovsky, Verkhnedonskoy, Martynovsky, Matveevo-Kurgan, Sholokhovsky," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Slyusar also said that in the Matveevo-Kurgagnsky district, the elimination of a fire caused by a drone hitting a fuel storage facility is continuing.

On May 30, the head of the Rostov region reported that almost 50 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had also been destroyed overnight by the air defense forces. Then the cities of Rostov-on-Don, Salsk, Taganrog, as well as Millerovsky, Tarasovsky, Sholokhovsky and Verkhnedonsky districts of the region were attacked. A man and a woman were injured as a result of the drone crash.
