Iran intends to hold the United States accountable for the attack on the girls' school in Minaba. This was announced on May 31 by the head of the Iranian Parliament's Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy, Ebrahim Azizi.

The parliamentarian noted that the country will not forget the dead martyrs, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed by the United States.

"We will certainly hold the United States accountable. We will never allow the blood of the martyrs of the Minaba school to be spilled in vain. We will never allow the sacred blood of our deceased Imam, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and our martyrs to be forgotten," he told RIA Novosti.

On March 15, US President Donald Trump, in response to a journalist's question about the involvement of the United States in the attack on the Iranian girls' school in Minab, said that the incident was being investigated. He did not provide details.

The attack on the elementary school for girls in Minaba was carried out on February 28, the day when the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran. At least 170 people, including minors, were killed in the incident.
