In France, 416 people were detained during the riots that began after the victory of the Paris Saint-Germain football club in the Champions League. This was reported on May 31 by the newspaper Le Figaro, citing French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez.

"416 arrests across France, 283 in Paris," the publication says.

It is also clarified that businesses have faced looting in about fifteen French cities.

Mass celebrations and riots began in Paris after the victory of the French football club Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on May 30. The Eiffel Tower was illuminated in the red and blue colors of the club, and the inscription "Champion" appeared on it.
