The United States intends to accelerate the withdrawal of its military contingent from the European Union. This was reported on May 30 by the German newspaper Welt, citing a source in the US Department of Defense.
It is noted that it is planned to reduce the number of troops in the Old World in case the United States participates in several military confrontations at the same time. Washington will benefit from this even under more favorable geopolitical conditions, as it will be able to act more flexibly.
