Nine people were hospitalized in Stavropol region after visiting a cafe
Nine people were hospitalized with intestinal infection after visiting a cafe in Pyatigorsk, Stavropol. This was announced on May 30 by the head of the city Dmitry Voroshilov.
"Nine people were admitted to the city infectious diseases hospital with intestinal infection. Previously, they were all customers of one of the city's cafes," he wrote on the Maks messenger.
It is noted that Rospotrebnadzor specialists are establishing the causes of mass poisoning. Voroshilov later clarified that the facilities were closed, and medical assistance was being provided to all the victims. He also shared that he had recently ordered delivery from this establishment himself.
On the same day, the Moscow Office of Rospotrebnadzor launched an epidemiological investigation into information about salmonellosis after eating rolls from a restaurant on Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard. Experts are investigating the circumstances of the poisoning and determining the source of the infection.
