Following the alleged sighting of a drone at Munich Airport on Saturday morning, air traffic was suspended for about an hour. This was reported by the Focus newspaper on May 30.
"The publication's expert, Kristina Herrmann, reported from the plane that an announcement had been made shortly before takeoff. A drone was spotted. The airport will be closed until at least 10 a.m. After nothing was found, the restrictions were lifted, the airport representative said, and air traffic resumed," the publication says.
According to the newspaper, the drone was noticed by one of the pilots of the plane, which was preparing for takeoff. Restrictions on boarding and departure of ships were in effect from about 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. local time, for a total of about an hour. At the moment, the air harbor is operating normally.
