Ex-Senator Arashukov offered $5 million for privileges in the "Black Dolphin"

A former member of the Federation Council, Rauf Arashukov, offered employees of the Black Dolphin colony, where he is serving a life sentence, a bribe of $5 million for granting himself the privilege. Relevant documents attest to this on May 30.

"[The head of the colony's operations department] met with Arashukov R. R. about five times, and it was Arashukov R. R. who offered him a bribe, first in the amount of $ 5 million, and at the next meeting — 5 million rubles to transfer to the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for [the Orenburg region], and to him in the amount of 1 million rubles for privileged conditions," TASS cites the content of the text.
