The Stanley Cup finalists have been determined

The Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights hockey clubs will play in the Stanley Cup final series of the 2025/2026 season. This became known on May 30, after the quarterfinal matches of the championship were played.

In the previous stage, Carolina beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-1 in the series, and the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Colorado Avalanche 4-0.

Both finalists of the tournament won the trophy once each. The Carolina team won the cup in 2006, and Vegas in 2023. The teams meet with each other for the first time in the framework of the tournament. The final four-win streak starts on June 2, and the winner will be determined after the final match on June 9.
