Air defense forces destroyed 127 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions overnight
Last night, air defense systems destroyed 127 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the regions of Russia. This was announced on May 30 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Maks messenger.
"During the past night, 127 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty from 20.00 Moscow time on May 29 to 7.00 Moscow time on May 30," the ministry said.
As specified, the drones were shot down over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, Ulyanovsk regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea and over the Sea of Azov.
Earlier in the day, the head of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, reported that over the past night, air defense systems intercepted 13 UAVs over one urban district and three districts of the region. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
