The forces of the Iranian air defense system shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) near the island of Qeshm in the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported on May 29 by the Iranian Tasnim news agency.

"As a result of the observation of a small enemy drone of American-Israeli origin in the Qeshma area by the army's air defense systems, it was promptly hit and destroyed during a successful operation," the Telegram channel said.
