Vladimir Bobko, a military officer of the 119th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), asked relatives living in Lithuania to contact the Russian military and record a video message for him. This became known on May 29.
Bobko said that his mother, sister, younger brother, grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousin live in Lithuania.
"I send greetings to my mother, sister, younger brother, grandmother, and cousin. I love them very much and miss them. If you can, send me a video message in response. They will definitely show it to me [Russian military personnel]," TASS quoted him as saying.
