Trump announced the lifting of the naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz
Ships stuck in the Strait of Hormuz due to the American naval blockade can return home, as restrictions have been lifted. This was announced on May 29 by US President Donald Trump on the Truth Social network.
"Iran will complete the immediate removal and/or detonation of any remaining mines, of which there will not be many! Ships stuck in the strait due to our amazing and unprecedented naval blockade, which will now be lifted, can begin the process of "returning home!" he said.
The politician noted that one of the conditions of the future peace agreement with Iran is unhindered navigation through the sea, as well as the absence of duties for the passage of ships through Hormuz.
Trump announced earlier in the day that he would make a final decision at a meeting with his aides today on whether to approve the agreed deal with Iran. According to him, Iran must confirm that it will never have nuclear weapons or bombs, and the Strait of Hormuz should be open to free navigation without duties in both directions.
