- The Russian Federation handed over to the United States information and debris from the UAVs that tried to attack Putin's residence
Russia has provided the United States with information about those unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that intended to attack the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region. This was announced by the Russian leader himself on May 29.
"We have provided representatives of the American administration with information and remnants of drones that tried to hit one of the Russian president's residences," he said, answering questions from reporters.
These materials, as the Russian president clarified, were transferred to the American side so that its representatives could conduct their expertise.
Putin made the corresponding statement when responding to a request from journalists to comment on the incident with an unidentified drone in Romania, which crashed into one of Galac's houses on the morning of the same day. Western politicians, in particular representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Defense, claim without proof that this device is allegedly Russian.
