The Russian Ministry of Justice has added writer Elvira Baryakina, political scientist Andrey Nikulin, and journalist Inna Kurochkina to the register of foreign agents. This was reported on May 29 on the agency's website.

According to the Ministry of Justice, Baryakina disseminated false information about the decisions of the authorities and their policies, opposed the special military operation (SVO), and also participated in the dissemination of materials by foreign agents and undesirable organizations. She lives outside the Russian Federation.

In addition to similar violations, Kurochkina called for violating the integrity of the Russian Federation, disseminated information distorting history, and participated in anti-Russian actions abroad. He also lives abroad.

Nikulin disseminated false information about the decisions of the authorities and participated in the dissemination of materials by foreign agents, the ministry said.

On May 8, the Russian Ministry of Justice added the philosopher Mikhail Epstein to the register of foreign agents. In addition, the list includes politician Anton Mikhalchuk, biologist Igor Yefimov, the Cyprus Daily News website, and blogger Andrei Agapov and activist Yevgeny Malyugin.
