A storm warning has been extended in the Stavropol Territory. Bad weather is forecast until the end of Sunday, May 31.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency with reference to the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, in addition to showers and hail, thunderstorms and wind gusts of up to 25 m/s are possible. Due to this, emergencies associated with flooding of low-lying areas, disruption of drainage systems, damage to trees and weakly fortified structures are possible.

The agency explains that the storm warning has been extended in the region for several weeks. During heavy rainfall, the water in the rivers rises.

On the evening of May 28, a large hail passed through several municipalities of Stavropol at once. Municipal and emergency services are still continuing to eliminate the consequences of the disaster.

Earlier it was reported that mostly cloudy weather with rains is expected in Moscow on the weekend of May 30 and 31, with air temperatures ranging from +10 to +16 degrees. This is evidenced by the data from Yandex. Weather. In the Moscow region, weather conditions on this day will be close to those in the capital. The temperature background in the cities of the region may differ from Moscow by 1-2 degrees during the day.
