In Kaluga, 100 thousand cars of the Russian brand Tenet were produced

The number of cars produced by the Russian brand Tenet has reached 100 thousand units. The AGR holding company in Kaluga has managed to achieve this milestone in 10 months since the restart of the assembly line, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on May 29.

The anniversary model is the flagship seven-seat crossover Tenet T8 in the Ultra configuration with all-wheel drive system. The car is equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 197 hp and a seven-speed robotic gearbox.

The plant has organized the production of Tenet T4, T4L, T7 and T8 models using full production cycle technology, including welding, painting and assembly. They are based on Chery brand models.

Another new model is due to be put on the assembly line at the Kaluga plant in the first half of the year. The large seven-seat Tenet T9 SUV was introduced in Russia in January.

On the eve of the AGR holding announced the completion of the selection of candidates for the status of an official dealer of the Tenet Plus brand in Russia, 101 partners have been identified. The brand's dealer network will cover more than 60 cities of the country from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk. Tenet Plus has become one of the four automarks created by AGR and Defetoo, in addition to Tenet, Jeland and Esteo.
