The crew of the Chinese ship Shenzhou-21 returned to Earth
Three cosmonauts of the crew of the Chinese spacecraft Shenzhou-21 returned to Earth from the Tiangong orbital station. This was reported on May 29 by China Central Television (CCTV).
The cosmonauts arrived from China's Tiangong Space Station in the evening, Beijing time. The crew's return was broadcast by China Central Television.
The descent capsule of the Shenzhou-22 spacecraft was used to return to Earth. The lander landed at the Dongfeng site, located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north of the country.
On May 24, China Central Television broadcast the launch of the Shenzhou-23 manned spacecraft with three crew members to the Chinese Tiangong space station. It was specified that one of the astronauts would conduct an experiment on board the station on continuous stay in space for a year, whereas the standard duration of missions is usually about six months.
