The use of Yelka interceptor drones manufactured in Moscow has forced the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to increase the altitude of UAV flights. This was announced on May 29 by the commander of the UAV counteraction unit with the call sign Kot.

"If we compare 2023 and the present, tactics have changed a lot. If in 2023 the Ukrainian Armed Forces flew at an altitude of 150-200 m, now they fly 900-1200 m. Because at the moment we have become a threat to the UAVs — we have started shooting down a lot," the TASS soldier said.
