Irina Dubtsova and 10AGE will compete for the main prize in the show "Salt. The legend"

On Friday, May 29, REN TV channel will show the third edition of the unique project "Salt. The legend." The participants will be singer Irina Dubtsova and rapper 10AGE (real name Dmitry Panov). Instead of pop music, they will have to test themselves in the opposite genre. On May 29, Izvestia correspondent Alexandra Mostovaya explained why the confrontation will definitely be heated.

Irina Dubtsova is moving from the pop format to heavy rock. Daring role — leather raincoat, chains, ultra-mini. She seemed to like the new genre. The song Stranger by the rock band Gorky Park is more than a hit for the artist — the warmest childhood memories are associated with this song.

"It seemed to me that I was suffering so much at the age of eight or ten, this song insanely sunk into my soul," Dubtsova shared with Izvestia.

And if she strikes a nerve with her strong vocals, the young rapper 10AGE catches the audience with her charisma and outrageous performance.

"It's hard to do rock covers. Yes, I've already said it somewhere, it's very difficult. I have problems with texts, I don't remember well. Problems with melodies, with vocals," admitted the artist.

The show "Salt. Legend" is bright, lively, with humor and drive. Incandescent sound, special effects, light, acoustics. The pavilion is an entire concert venue. This scene is like a dueling ring for musicians. Each of them has their own team. Three rounds and three rock covers. The main task is to impress the strict jury.

The artists are being evaluated by Agatha Christie's leader Vadim Samoilov, producer Viktor Drobysh and rapper ST (real name is Alexander Stepanov), who rocks the hall during the recording of the release. A rotating member of the jury participates in each issue: Yelka, Yulia Savicheva, Sergey Burunov, Yuri Muzychenko from The Hatters and others.

When pop artists take up rock, you have to wait for the unexpected. Who would have thought that the song "High" by Yulia Savicheva could sound like this. Even the singer herself — and she sits in the jury chair — did not immediately recognize her hit.

"Despite the fact that it was crooked, there was such a cool mood and that's the wildness that I like about Dima (rapper 10AGE. — Ed.)," Savicheva said and sang a duet with the artist.

The jury and the audience vote — only one gets a steel guitar. In this issue, the atmosphere heats up with each round. When the jury is scolding, it is difficult for the artists to control their emotions. For example, Irina Dubtsova left, leaving the stage empty, the jury at a loss, and the audience in suspense.

"This is an inadequate attitude towards the project, and it seems to me that this is an unworthy behavior of an artist. You need to be able to hold a punch," Drobysh commented on the incident.

The new edition of the show "Salt. Legend" will be shown on May 29 on REN TV at 23:00 Moscow time and on the VK Video channel.
