277 fare violators were identified near Rechnoy Vokzal metro station

Controllers of the State Institution "Organizer of Transportation" together with police officers conducted an enhanced check near the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station on May 28. 277 violators were identified among the passengers of 92 buses.

In total, experts checked more than 4.4 thousand tickets near the River Station. Each violator was fined, which from January 9, 2026, amounts to 5,000 rubles, the press service of the Moscow Transport Complex reported.

"We continue to fight against those who do not pay for travel," commented Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. He stressed that all funds from the fare go to the development of urban transport and infrastructure. "We urge passengers to pay their fare when entering ground transportation, even for short trips!" added Liksutov.

The Moscow Transport Complex reminded that it is necessary to top up the ticket in advance, and also to attach it immediately at the entrance, waiting for the green check mark on the validator. Holders of social cards must have with them documents confirming the right to benefits. All tickets, including social cards, and Single season tickets for 30, 90, and 365 days are subject to validation.

Enhanced inspections have been carried out since 2023, and since May 2024 they have become weekly. The ticket inspectors check the tickets at the exit from the front door of the bus. Police officers are on duty at each check, who monitor order and compliance with migration legislation.

Since the beginning of the year, 20 enhanced inspections have been carried out (along with an inspection at the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station) on the most popular routes in Moscow. During this time, the inspectors checked over 48.9 thousand tickets from passengers on 1,211 buses. During all this time, more than 3.4 thousand stowaways have been identified.
