Rospotrebnadzor suspended the sale of 64.5 million bottles of Jermuk water in Russia

Rospotrebnadzor has sent an additional instruction to the operator of the Honest Sign system to suspend the sale of 64.5 million bottles of Jermuk mineral water in Russia. This was reported on May 29 in the press service of the department.

The ministry noted that the reason was violations of mandatory requirements of legislation on technical regulation. According to the control data, the water contains an excess of bicarbonates, chlorides and sulfates, which can mislead consumers about the medicinal properties of products and negatively affect their health.

Rospotrebnadzor clarified that since the beginning of 2026, the Honest Sign system has already blocked the sale of 38.4 million bottles of Jermuk in retail and through online channels.
