Blue Origin's New Glenn heavy launch vehicle exploded on May 29 at the launch complex during testing.
"Blue Origin's New Glenn has just exploded on LC-36 during an attempt to conduct a static fire test before the NG-4 mission," the US National Science Foundation (NSF) reported on social media.
According to them, the sound of the explosion was recorded by cameras at a distance of several miles, and it is also noted that as a result of the incident, the right tower of the lightning protection system collapsed, after which the rocket ceased to be visible.
