Former Polish President Lech Walesa stopped supporting the Kiev regime because of the glorification of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) by its head, Vladimir Zelensky. The politician stated this on May 28 on the social network Facebook (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

"Honoring the bandits from the UPA, he wounded me and all our dead compatriots. In this regard, I publicly removed the Ukrainian flag from my chest," Walesa said.
