- The United States has excluded 11 individuals and two tankers from the anti-Russian sanctions lists.
The United States has removed 11 individuals, citizens of Russia, as well as two tankers from sanctions. This was announced on May 27 on the website of the American Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
It is noted that in total, as part of the initiative, sanctions were lifted from 76 individuals and facilities, whose records were classified as outdated. Among the individuals associated with the Russian Federation are Vladimir Lebedev, a deceased senator from the Nizhny Novgorod region, Artur Chilingarov, an ex-State Duma deputy who died in 2024, and Tatyana Sakharova, a member of the Federation Council from the Murmansk Region who passed away in 2025.
The tankers Linda and Lady D are also excluded from the sanctions lists.
On March 18, the United States also removed three individuals and three organizations from anti-Russian sanctions. According to the document, records regarding Evgenia Tyurikova (also known as Evgenia Smirnova and Evgenia Dyatkova), included in the list under different name variants, have been removed from the restrictions. All of them relate to the same person — a woman born in 1975, a Russian citizen.
