In Moscow, they talked about the Children's Day program
In Moscow, VDNH and cultural institutions have prepared more than 500 events for Children's Day. As part of the "Summer in Moscow" project, workshops, concerts, performances, film screenings, quests and sports competitions are organized in different districts for residents and guests of the capital, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"More than 500 events have been prepared for young citizens and their parents. They will unite over 300 sites — parks, museums, cultural centers, libraries and others," Sergunina said.
The festive program starts on May 30. The Strogino Cultural Center will host the open district festival of wind and choral music "Hello, Summer!", where children's orchestras and ensembles will perform.
On May 31, guests are expected at the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve. There will be cartoon screenings, lectures, sports competitions and performances by musicians. In addition, the audience will see productions of "The Tale of Tsar Saltan", "Puss in Boots" and "The Tale of the Golden Cockerel".
On the same days, the children's art festival Nebo will be held in Muzeon Park with concerts, interactive shows and master classes. A series of thematic events are being organized at the Moskino Film Park: a quest based on the "Little Prince", a play "The Secret of the Enchanted Portrait", dance flash mobs and creative animation and dubbing classes.
On May 31, Gorky Film Studio will host the premiere of the musical "Cinema Time Machine", dedicated to the history of cinema.
A program for the whole family was also prepared at VDNH. In the KulibinPro engineering workshop, children will be able to create all-terrain robots, and at the Robostation exhibition they will talk about the professions of the future. Cartoon screenings are planned at the Cinema Museum.
In addition, events dedicated to Children's Day will be organized at the Vorontsovo Estate, the Mitino Landscape Park, the Moscow Zoo, the Cosmonautics Museum and the Timiryazev State Biological Museum.
