At least 13 people have died in China as a result of an overloaded bus colliding with a truck. This was reported on May 28 by the Xinhua news agency, citing local authorities.

"13 people were killed and three injured in a collision between an overloaded passenger minibus and a truck on an expressway section in Henan Province in central China early on Thursday morning." — the publication says.

It is specified that the collision occurred on a section of the road in the city of Nanyang. At the time of the accident, there were 16 people in a nine-passenger minibus. After the accident, the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China sent a working group to the scene.

On May 26, an accident involving a school bus and a passenger train also occurred in the Belgian municipality of Buggenhout, resulting in several deaths. The tragedy was recorded at 08:08 (09:08 Moscow time) at a railway crossing between Antwerp and Brussels. The vehicle carrying the children got on the way, passing the closed barriers. The circumstances under which this happened are already being investigated.
