Russian President Vladimir Putin outlined specific conditions for the completion of a special military operation (SVO), according to which Donbass, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions should become part of Russia. Former Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Stepashin recalled this on May 28.

"It is quite obvious which end of the conflict will suit Russia. The President clearly outlined the conditions for completing his military operation: those subjects of the Russian Federation that have become subjects of Russia today, I mean Donbass, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, should be part of the Russian Federation," he told RIA Novosti.
