Private Derda used grenades during the assault on the AFU stronghold

The shooter, Private Alexander Derda, participated in the capture of a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) as part of an assault group. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Thursday, May 28.

Derda discovered the location of the camouflaged support and decided to inflict primary damage to the enemy with grenades — the soldier threw them into the ventilation pipes. Then, while the enemy was disoriented due to the unexpected attack, the assault group broke into the stronghold and engaged in battle, quickly taking it without loss of personnel.

The Defense Ministry also noted the courage and determination of Guard Sergeant Alexei Semenov, who was under mortar fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, along with his assault group.

Following the mortars of the Russian military, they tried to attack enemy attack drones. However, despite the difficult situation, Semenov decided to move on in order to reach the AFU position and destroy the attackers. In a short time, the group approached the Ukrainian mortar crew. The enemy was successfully eliminated.
