In the future, Armenia could receive gas as payment for the transit of energy through a gas pipeline through its territory. This was announced on May 27 by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"Today we already have a railway from West to East, the Kars-Akhalkalaki railway opened for Armenia a few days earlier, the railway through Azerbaijan opened even earlier, the TRIPP will open soon, a gas pipeline will pass through Armenia and we will have our own gas due to this transit, since we will be paid for transit with gas" He said in an interview with Armenia TV channel.

The politician did not specify which gas pipeline he was talking about.

Earlier that day, Pashinyan announced Armenia's plan to get rich. He stressed that the republic is becoming a "crossroads of the world" and will be able to ensure its own well-being. The prime minister also added that the country already has a military-industrial complex that sells weapons to developed countries.
