The Central Bank reported an increase in the profits of pawnshops to 12.8 billion rubles.

The total profit of pawnshops in Russia by the end of 2025 reached 12.8 billion rubles, which is almost 1.5 times higher than in the previous year, according to data presented on May 27 on the website of the Bank of Russia.

"In 2025, pawnshops signed almost 19 million loan agreements with citizens. This is 13% more than in 2024," the article says.
