Gutsan spoke about the professional development of almost a hundred prosecutors in Russia and China

Almost one hundred Russian and Chinese prosecutors have completed advanced training at departmental educational institutions. This was announced on May 27 by Russian Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan at a meeting with Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Prosecutor's Office of China Ying Yun in Beijing.

"Almost one hundred prosecutors from Russia and China have completed advanced training at departmental educational institutions. <...> In addition, cooperation in the field of legal assistance is increasing, and the frequency of delegation exchanges is increasing. We are actively cooperating in the fight against money laundering, drug and arms trafficking, and economic crimes," Gutan stressed.

The meeting of the heads of the supervisory authorities of the two countries took place at the People's Assembly House of the People's Republic of China. Gutsan thanked his Chinese colleague for the invitation and highly appreciated the effectiveness of cooperation between the prosecutor's offices. The parties agreed to continue working together in the field of combating crime and in other areas.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation program for 2027-2028. The document provides for a plan of joint events, which includes joint seminars, round tables and training events aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The Russian Prosecutor General arrived in China the day before.
