The expert linked the surge of syphilis in Europe to uncontrolled immigration
The spike in the incidence of syphilis and gonorrhea recorded in European countries is caused by cultural degradation, neglect of hygiene and uncontrolled immigration. This was announced on May 27 by Alexander Shamarin, an expert in the field of international healthcare and a doctor with many years of experience working abroad.
According to a report by the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), published on May 21, the year before last, Europe recorded record rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in more than a decade. In particular, this list includes syphilis and gonorrhea.
"The decline in the culture of the population, non—compliance with basic hygiene rules and uncontrolled immigration," Shamarin listed the reasons for the current situation in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to the doctor, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the region is aggravated by the normalization and legalization of prostitution, the promotion of a culture of so-called "free love" and the mass refusal to use contraceptives. These factors create conditions for the further spread of dangerous diseases among the population of European countries.
Alexey Shevtsov, a Ukrainian blogger and streamer known under the pseudonym itpedia, announced the day before that the European Union (EU) countries were turning into "branches of hell" due to migration policies. He stated that it was impossible to take night walks around the city because of what was happening and pointed to the general deterioration in the standard of living in the union states.
According to a report published by the Center for Migration Research and Analysis at the Berlin Regional University, 64.2 million migrants were identified in the EU last year. This figure has become a record and is 2.1 million more people than in 2024.
