As the President noted, Russia intends and is ready to develop multifaceted allied relations with Kazakhstan. He expressed confidence that the negotiations during his upcoming visit to Kazakhstan would give a significant impetus to further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.

In his article, the President pointed to a new step in cooperation between the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan in the field of cosmonautics. He recalled that this year, on April 30, the first launch of the Russian-Kazakh advanced medium-range rocket Soyuz-5/Sunkar from the Baiterek complex took place.

"It is symbolic that this happened in the year of the 65th anniversary of the first human flight into low—Earth orbit, Yuri Gagarin, who embarked on his historic mission from the Baikonur cosmodrome," Putin said.

Attacks on Russian territory
