Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, during a speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council, called on the US authorities to stop pressure on the island. This was reported on May 26 by the newspaper Granma.
"We call on the U.S. government to leave Cuba alone and allow it to live in peace," the minister said.
