The court allowed the decision on the Central Bank's lawsuit against Euroclear to be executed immediately.

The Moscow Arbitration Court has issued an immediate enforcement decision on the recovery of the claim of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation against the Belgian depository Euroclear. This was reported to Izvestia on May 26 by the court's press service.

"The court granted the application for the decision to be immediately enforced," the press service said.

In December 2025, the Central Bank announced the filing of a lawsuit against Euroclear. The reason for the appeal to the court was both the actions of the depository and the mechanisms discussed in the European Commission for the direct or indirect use of the assets of the Bank of Russia without its consent.
