More than 300 people suffered from tick bites in Stavropol

Over the past week, 327 people in the Stavropol Territory went to the doctors with tick bites. Acaricide treatment of territories is carried out in the region.

Experts have already identified cases of diseases carried by ticks. Two people fell ill with borreliosis, three were diagnosed with Crimean hemorrhagic fever. This is reported by the StavropolMedia news agency.

Acaricide treatment covered an area of almost 3.5 thousand hectares. Special preparations are sprayed on the territories of schools and preschools, on pastures, as well as in recreation areas of the population.

Last week, more than 1.3 thousand people suffered from tick bites in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Tick-borne encephalitis was diagnosed in a 71-year-old pensioner.
