The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill extending the "garage amnesty" until September 1, 2031. This was announced on May 26 by the press service of the United Russia party.

"The bill of the party has been adopted in the first reading, which extends the "garage amnesty" until September 1, 2031. To date, more than 700,000 people have used it. The extension of the mechanism will significantly increase this number," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.
