Lawyer Irina Lukyanova told how to restore the unaccounted-for length of service for retirement. In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, May 26, she explained that when applying for a pension, part of the length of service may be "lost" due to errors in data or loss of documents, resulting in lower payments.

She noted that first you need to check the information through an extract from an individual personal account at Gosuslugi or in a Social Fund and compare it with a work record. If the pension has already been awarded, you should request a certificate of its amount.

According to the lawyer, it is possible to confirm the missed periods using a work record, contracts, certificates, orders and archival data. In older cases, witness testimony is allowed. If the employer still exists, you can request documents from him, if not, search in the archives.

After that, you need to submit an application to the Social Fund for the inclusion of seniority. The expert added that individual periods can also be counted in the length of service, for example, studying before 2002, serving in the army and caring for loved ones. If an error is detected after the pension is awarded, Lukyanova recommended applying for recalculation with supporting documents.

On the same day, Igor Balynin, an associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of Russia, pointed out three ways to receive retirement savings: a funded pension, an urgent pension payment and a lump sum payment, writes RT. The right to payments arises when the retirement age is reached according to the norms of 2018: 55 years for women and 60 for men, notes 360.ru .

Lyudmila Ivanova-Shvets, Associate Professor of the basic Department of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry "Human Resource Management" at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, said that a certificate on the status of an individual personal account would help check whether all work periods were taken into account when calculating pensions, and potentially increase the amount of payments.

Earlier in May, Tatyana Golubeva, senior lecturer at the RANEPA Department of Business, Labor and Corporate Law, warned that lower payments could be awarded if a person had previously worked without official registration, if periods of military service, training or receiving unemployment benefits were not taken into account. The pension will be reduced if there are gaps in the employer's payments of the corresponding contributions for the employee, the website writes. kp.ru .

Mikhail Khachaturian, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and Innovative Development at the Financial University, named the average future pension for bloggers. According to him, if a blogger makes the maximum payments to the Social Fund for 25 years, his pension will exceed 43 thousand rubles, IA Regnum reports.
