The Volga car brand has announced prices for all three models

The domestic Volga car brand has announced prices for three new models. The C50 sedan will cost from 2.9 million rubles, the K40 crossover from 2.75 million rubles, and the K50 crossover from 4.2 million rubles. They should be available at dealers in June this year. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on May 26.

Volga cars are based on models of the Chinese brand Geely and outwardly differ from them in the design of the radiator grille, stylized as "Volga", which were produced at the GAZ plant. The C50 sedan is based on the Geely Preface, the K40 crossover is based on the Atlas, and the larger K50 is based on the Monjaro. The warranty for cars is 5 years or 150 thousand kilometers.

Production of Volga models is carried out at the plant in Nizhny Novgorod, where previously Skoda and Volkswagen cars were produced. The project is being led by Nizhny Novgorod Passenger Cars. In the future, she intends to develop her own original models.

The Volga C50 sedan will be equipped with a two-liter engine in two boost versions (150 or 200 hp), the engine is paired with a 7-speed robotic transmission. Front-wheel drive only.

The Volga K40 crossover will be offered with a choice of two combinations of gasoline engines and transmissions.: This is a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp in combination with a seven-speed automatic robotic transmission and front-wheel drive, as well as a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 200 hp in combination with an eight-speed automatic hydromechanical transmission and all-wheel drive.

The Volga K50 crossover is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 238 hp and an all-wheel drive system. The engine is powered by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
