United Russia has proposed initiatives for the development of the Far East
It is possible to stop the outflow of population from the Far East and the Arctic only through comprehensive infrastructure development and the creation of new promising jobs. The principles of regional development were formulated on May 26 at the "There is a result!" forum of the United Russia party, which was held in Vladivostok.
Among the proposals made at the forum are the improvement of about 30 thousand public territories, the construction of modern residential areas with social infrastructure, including schools and clinics, as well as the modernization of the port and railway network.
"All the proposals that came from the representatives of the round tables, from the groups that held these meetings, all these proposals are imbued with great love for the Far East. We had a very substantive, good and sensible conversation, and the proposals that were made here today will certainly be reflected in our program document," said Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of the party.
Special attention was also paid to the Arctic zone, namely the transformation of northern cities, social guarantees and conditions for long-term work.
Yakushev said that United Russia had secured the adoption of about 100 federal laws in the field of the development of the Far East and the Arctic zone. Vladimir He stated that the development of these regions is a strategic priority for Russia.
